Coffee shop and Brand Store for special offers and souvenirs. Blair Athol, Pitlochry - Blair Athol distillery stands at the gateway to the Scottish Highlands in the picturesque town of Pitlochry. Established in 1798, Blair Athol is one of the oldest working distilleries in Scotland. The distillery produces a 12 year old single malt whisky, wih a mellow deep-toned aroma, a stronf fruity flavour and a smooth finish. Edradour, Pitlochry - Nestled in a pocket glen, in the hills above Pitlochry, lies Edradour, the smallest distillery in Scotland. The neat cluster of buildings, virtually unchanged in the last 150 years, houses equipment only just capable of producing commercial quantities. Indeed, only 12 casks a week are produced, making Edradour Single Malt Whisky a rare pleasure for a fortunate few. Glenfiddich Distillery, Dufftown - Experience an in-depth tour and tutored nosing of some of Glenfiddich's favourite malt whiskies. The Balvenie, Dufftown - The Balvenie Distillery recently opened its doors to the public and small groups of visitors can now discover for themselves how the Balvenie is made. The Famous Grouse Experience, Crieff - At the Famous Grouse Experience, you'll be able to learn exactly how Scotch Malt Whisky is produced, from how the barley is ground in the mill, through the masking, fermenting and distilling processes to the magical years of maturing that give the whisky its unique character.
